Individuals exposed to music can learn emotions and develop their responsiveness, empathy, and communication skills. That is why LA Musica Therapy offers special needs music lessons. Music encourages and creates emotional knowledge in people. Furthermore, our music therapists teach singing lessons, special needs music therapy, and autism music lessons. Our program also encourages participants to be independent.

Our clinical-based music lesson program offers students one-on-one music instructions for typical learners and/or students with special needs. Even though the music lessons' main objective is to instruct students in learning music concepts and music performance skills, music lessons can also be structured to address each student's specific areas of needs and increase non-musical skills, such as speech-language, social-emotional, attention span, sensorimotor, academics, amongst others.
